Advance Voting Begins October 11
Save yourself time on Voting Day, and consider casting your ballot during the City of Vaughan’s advance vote period from October 11 to 18. Advance vote is being conducted across all five wards and is once again using a “vote anywhere” model which means you can cast your ballot at any one of our voting locations. Accessible voting devices will be available at City Hall throughout the eight-day advance vote period.
New for 2018, the City has partnered with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) to conduct two days of advance voting at two subway stations located in Vaughan. Between October 15 and 16, cast your ballot on your way to or from the subway.
The City of Vaughan is pleased to offer curbside voting to electors during the Advance Vote period from October 11 to 18, 2018 at Vaughan City Hall. Any eligible voter may schedule a time to attend City Hall during that time and election officials will meet you at your vehicle to confirm your identity and issue your ballot. Once you have marked your ballot, the election official will deposit the ballot into the tabulator located inside the building. At all times, your vote will remain confidential inside a secrecy folder.
Electors are asked to contact the Office of the City Clerk by phone at 905-832-8585 or by email at email@example.com to make an appointment.
